Thank you for teaching many people the wrong things to say about Black America. Thank you for speaking ignorance to the masses and for glorifying your own views on a situation/epidemic/culture that you will never understand and that you will never begin to understand. It’s astonishing to see that an individual who has lived many years of his life still has the mentality and attitude of a fussy child. While I don’t doubt you have been sufficiently educated through academic schooling, you still have a long way to go when it comes to knowing the things you yourself have built misconceptions towards. Although you may feel as though you are helping and supporting the cause by sharing what you incorrectly think is true, your freedom of speech has been morphed into freedom of ignorance on numerous occasions. The saddest part is that while you believe you know many things about the feelings and thoughts and ways of living of Black America, you truly know nothing. Even more saddening is the fact that you can’t realize that for yourself. In fact, you may never truly realize this. My advice: Stop speaking on behalf of people who wouldn’t come near you with a 10 foot pole. Stop lying to yourself and making yourself out to be a figurehead for degrading the movement. Thank you for ultimately dehumanizing yourself in your attempts to dehumanize those who have been historically and systematically lessened by individuals such as yourself.
